Honey soap is made with cold-spun raw heather honey, beeswax, and propolis, directly from beekeeper de Oase, the first and only organic beekeeper in the Netherlands! Elmar Mook's bee colonies collect nectar every late summer in the heather area, resulting in viscous, amber-colored heather honey. The beeswax is super pure and smells heavenly of honey and amber. We also obtain the propolis in raw form, grind it, and then macerate it in olive oil.
The heather honey gives the soap its soft-lathering properties and beautiful color. And the sweet-spicy scent is carried by essential oils from bee-loved forage plants sage, lavender, and rosemary.
